Trip 2 Chowdy's

phew!!!!... i'm back from a very much needed trip.... a trip to reinvent myself....
and who better than chowdy aka chowallax aka choxxx!!!!.... ha!!!.... apart from the fact that the guy looks significantly much older, he's still in the league!!!!.... apart from the trip there were couple of "trips" too!!!!.... know what i mean right?.... there... that's chowdy for you on the right......


apart from that, the whole trip was kinda jinxed.... getting caught in the middle of the night by cops and narrowly escaping.... the heavy rains.... and the biggest of all, the car's tyre getting blown right in the middle of nowhere!!!..... the threading simply fell out of the wheel!!!!... how cool is that???!!!!









and then chowdy had to change the wheel...




by then we had had enough and decided that the roadtrip was not meant for people like us and headed straight back home, and got back to doing what we're good at!!!!.... lol!!!.... oh.... another highlight of the trip, i had buffalo intestines!!!!.....

Eclipsed!!!!

Sigh.... would you believe it???!!!!.... it's the last total solar eclipse (TSE) of our lives!!!!.... which means we don't get to see another TSE!!!!... oh my gawddddd!!!!.... that's terrible!!!!.... haha!!!.... big deal!!!!..... anyways.... today was the day!!!!.... when the moon shoved its butt in the sun's face.... haha!!!.... (k... this post ain't that funny.... so i've included the "haha's" in between just to make you laugh... kinda like those laugh tracks on the tele sitcoms.... there's this new show (new 'cos i've never watched it before) on tv called 'Two and a Half Men'.... i gotta tell you, the show would've been much funnier if it weren't for the laugh track... it's about two guys with oversized tummies and who keep thinking about food... so, the dialogues go somewhat like this :
Guy 1 : I need to talk to you (Hahaha)
Guy 2 : Let's have dinner first (an even bigger hahahaha)
Guy 1: That's a good idea (Hahaha)
Guy 2 : I wanna have tuna sandwich (hahahahahahahaha!!!!!)
Goddd!!!!!.....).... anyways.... since i couldn't get a live view of the TSE, i had to watch it on tv.... sad.... kerala is such a non-happening place that even solar eclipses don't occur here!!!!!.... so here i was at 6 in the morning, when i should be sound asleep in bed, watching the stupid ninny's scream "Oh my God!!!... There it is!!!!... Isn't it amazing.... the moon looks gorgeous.... blah blah blah....".....

hmmmm.... it was quite interesting actually.... you know, sudden darkness after a few hours of bright sunlight.... it'd have been great if we had eclipses like every alternate day for around an hour.... so people'd have to carry sleeping bags to work or colleges.... and as soon as the sun's off, take a quick one-hour nap and get back to work!!!!..... haha.... weird......................

a top ten list of what's been annoying me lately....

1> first and foremost!!!.... people never-endingly enquiring about my job status...

2> the growing number of reality shows on TV...

3> (that reminds me!!!) anusha dandekar's fake accent...

4> people coming in uninvitedly and crashing into my car (3 times in the past 2 months... BUT LEMME REMIND YOU THAT I'M NOT A BAD DRIVER!!!!)...

5> new bloggers who post once or twice and then totally forget about their blog...

6> the requirement for an address proof and an id proof for any crap service you wanna acquire in india...

7> people asking me about VG's future plans and whether i still speak to her, and informing me that she'z become real hot now...

8> i joined twitter recently.... more specifically, yesterday, at 11:45:23 (IST).... and they give you an option to follow the blogs of celebs of your choice.... and i (stupidly) chose to follow Dr. Dre, of all the people!!!!... atleast now i get to know what Dre does every 5mins... here's a sample from Dre's tweets...
10:30 -- i went into the recording room
10:35 -- i sat down and put on my headfones
10:40 -- i began thinking about some good lyrics for Soulja Boy
10:45 -- i wrote them down
holy crap!!!!... now that is some tweeting!!!...

9> MS Dhoni's ads on TV... i just hate the guy... honestly speaking, i hate all guys from Ranchi!!!... (Dhoni's from Ranchi rite???...)

10> the numerous tamil movies that are coming out, with hot heroines and ugly story lines... a friendly piece of advice... never, ever watch a tamil movie with Trisha in it, no matter how hot she looks in it... the movie is sure to be a dud!!!...

11> lack of good "unhealthy" food in india...

12> friends who happen to be very well informed on current matters, and are more than proud to inform the world about their knowledge...
Bet you didn't get my point there... and that's why i decided to give you examples of status messages on facebook.....
- This year's Financial Budget has proved to be really deadly. I can't wait to see how Sensex reacts to this!
- Google Chrome OS is going to be serious competition for Microsoft OS!
- The transfer of C. Ronaldo is a big bonus for Real Madrid
God!!!!... who gives a tiny piece of shit about what these people know???!!!!... why tha heck is the thing known as status message, if what people put up is messages about what's going on in the world???!!!....
But then, again there are stupid people who post status messages like "I made sambhar today" or "I'm so happy that i'm gonna make payasam" or "I'm having thayir saadham".... that's when you know that you've reached your level of saturation and that your brain can't take it anymore!!!!...

13> while we're on facebook, another thing that annoys me is when people reply by 'comment'ing, when you 'post' on their wall... so you end up taking the pain of finding them, going to their profile and searching for their comment...


ok... i just realised that it was a top-ten list, and now i got 13!!!.... gotta go.... tadaaaaaaaaaaaa..........

Flip Aby

today..... i was aimlessly walking down the streets of trivandrum.... all alone as usual.... thinking to myself.... what a wonderful world!!!!..... and then!!!.... it happened!!!!.... something was blocking my way.... and then i looked up.... and who do i see???!!!!..... Mr. Flip Aby.... (k that's not his real name.... but these techno wizkids these days nah... you write any shit about them in any corner of the web, and they'll sniff you out....).... our comp HOD back in ism.... my favourite sir... hands down.... anyways here he was.... with a wife and a kid who looked exactly like him.... lol.... the kid would barely move.... he had to be dragged around.... guess he's already "got a lot of weight on his shoulders"!!!!.... i got so emotional after seeing someone from ism after so long... i had to try real hard to hold back a tear drop... and i did succeed!!!!.. anyways.... he did remember me!!!!.... which i thought was really great.... hmmmm... we didn't do much of catching up.... i didn't talk much.... (i used to be a very quite guy till a few months back.... now.... i'm even more quite!!!!.... if i stood with Flip for five more mins, perhaps he'd have collapsed on the street and gone off to sleep!!!.... i've put people off 2 sleep while i was talking to them over the fone!!!!.... lol!!!!...)....
